such a small world 3月14日 The story of a dead blogToday I’ve remembered that once upon a time I had an Arabic blog, I was so happy with it and wrote several articles on it with Arabic language. Most of these articles that I can’t remember now were about peace and anti-war topics, but, the blog is now gone and with it my Arabic articles and several hundreds of other blogs that were hosted with me on the same host. The blog host was called enashir, and now it’s gone apparently because they didn’t pay the hosting fees. My Arabic blog link still there on my current personal English blog, you can find a link to it on the right side, it will direct you to a page full of ads. Moral of story is, don’t trust Arabic hosts and don’t invest your time with them, they are mostly amateurs whom don’t have respect for your ideas. 3月13日 More time pleaseRecently through several occasions and experiences, I’ve discovered that what I really need is more time. I’ve too much things to do, but all what I’m missing is time. I got books to read, articles to write, projects to start, drumming courses that I can’t manage to find time for, archery training that I can’t find time to attend and lots of ideas that I can’t even find time to implement. So let’s face it, I work more than 8 hours daily plus 2 hours of transportation back and forth to work, I’ve also a biological need to sleep 8 hours if not more because I’m usually mentally exhausted. Also I need at least an hour daily to eat my food which is another biological need that I can’t stop. So that makes in best scenarios about 19 hours a day but if stayed an extra 2 hours in work and another one sleeping after work I will get only 2 hours of free time a day. Sometimes I even stay 12 hours at work so those extra 2 free hours become a sort of luxury. So what should I do? Any suggestions? 3月12日 I had my self some healthy food for dinner tonightWell, I’ve just have finished my dinner, practically it should be called breakfast cause it’s 5:30 am now but the 3 meal system is an old fashioned you know. Ok, I had two freshly picked half boiled eggs, actually I didn’t deliberately half boil them, I just don’t know how to cook and as we say here in Egypt I don’t know how to boil an egg, but actually I’ve just discovered the wonders of half boiled eggs as they are so tasty that they designed egg timers using microcontrollers to half boil eggs, and it’s considered in the world of microcontrollers programming like a hello world program in the world of software development. Ok the last line was the last technical line in this post, if you are seeking some technical stuff you can go for my technical blog, but this is my personal blog where I can write about how I ate a half boiled egg as much as I want. After the half boiled eggs I had a sort of cheese that I don’t know its name but we call in Egypt as roman cheese. Also I had Rockford cheese with black olive and luncheon meat. After that I drank a glass of full cream milk without sugar, usually I like milk without sugar. What is interesting about this meal is that I rarely have such a meal, I mostly east fast food that I obtain by any home delivery service, why? Because first I don’t know how to cook and I’m not intending to learn cooking, also I don’t have time to cook in first place, because most my time is consumed by my work, you can call me a workaholic or maybe a computeraholic, ok, I’ve just invented this word, well, Shakespeare did invent some few words of his own so why don’t I invent some too. I think I need to sleep now as I found out that cheese is known to have Tryptophan which is an amino acid that is known to be a sleep aid. 3月3日 I got glassesWell, I’ve to face it, I’ve astigmatism with a big degree but I was used to it and lived in denial till the case got worst. I’ve once along ago got to a doctor to check my eyes, he told me that I have astigmatism with a big degree, actually I wasn’t really convinced so I got a 2nd opinion which have contradicted the first one, so I came up with the conclusion that neither of the doctors is right and getting a 3rd opinion would be a pure waste of time plus glasses would miss my nice masculine looks, so I ignored both opinions until lately I started to occasionally get this vertical double vision thing, so I panicked and got a visit to 1st doctor again whom are more experienced than 2nd one. He faced me with the truth that my case got worst and I have to live with it, I’ve to wear a glasses. So I got the prescription and went to the nearest eye glasses shop, picked a quite expensive glasses frame and ordered a nice quality lenses with anti-reflection with a little help from my medical insurance of course. Two days later which is today I got my glasses, once I worn them I was shocked, I was like wow, everything is so focused, I can see and read stuff from very long distances. I started to experiment a little with it on the spot, looking for a distant object with my naked eye then look to it again using my new glasses, I was shocked and felt like I have been fouled all this time with my current blurry vision which gave me several problems before to see things at a distance and to identify friends from foes at a distant. A work college of mine told me today, welcome to the club of glasses. Welcome indeed. 3月1日 I've always felt that Rails sucksand seems like there is somebody whom is partially sharing me my point of view Our chemical lifeWe comprehend life through our brains, such a delicate complex devices that every person have within their skull. How those magnificent devices work? Is it magic or something else? Actually the answer is quite simple but yet quite hard to explain, the answer is chemistry. Yes it’s chemistry, when you love it’s chemistry, when you fear it’s chemistry, when you trust it’s also chemistry, even when you being creative it’s also chemistry. Ever heard that most famous mastication use morphine? Ever heard that most famous writers use caffeine? Sometimes even both. Such chemicals control how our brains behave; these chemicals are mostly protein enzymes or hormones that are supposed to be produced through their recipes decoded within our genes, these genes can define each person characteristics, wither that person is creative or stupid, wither that person is calm by nature or have a bad temper and aggressive, wither that person is motivated or lazy. You feel love trust or even motherhood through a hormone called Oxytocin. For men Testosterone controls the amount of their aggressiveness. So maybe I’m oversimplifying here, but, if you want to feel love you can take Oxytocin, if you want to feel aggressiveness you can take Testosterone, and if you want to have some creativity you can take Morphine but don’t forget Voltaire’s famous advice “use but do not abuse” . |
